FREEDOM ANGEL FOUNDATION ( 501C3 )
"AN ANGEL FOR OUR SOLDIERS" Mission Statement:The members of Freedom Angel Foundation, Inc. have joined together to honor the men and women of the armed forces of the United States. Our mission is to raise public awareness of the special medical and social needs of these men and women when they return to civilian life and to raise funds to help meet those needs. By creating a new national monument to celebrate America and the men and women who protect her, we will have deliberately created a highly marketable insignia which can can be placed on many products, bearing the Angel's image. Coupled with corporate sponsorships, we hope to greatly increase the national level of donations across the country and, at the same time, give to our country a permanent, multi-generational source of income which is dedicated to our mission. We anticipate that the Freedom Angel will play an active part in American life and that once placed, the Freedom Angel will become a destination that every American will want to visit at least once in their lifetime. *Copyright: Freedom Angel Foundation: All Rights Reserved

A Love Letter From Home
  a poem by Sterett-Gittings  Kelsey August 9,2008  info@FreedomAngelFoundation.org

Dearest One, I'm counting on you. Keep the light of Liberty bright. I so appreciate what you are doing for me. I miss you Sweetheart. You make the sun shine. I am with you now, Every step of the way, Keeping you close, In my thoughts, In my prayers. Cherished above all, You are precious to me. Come home safely, Come home soon.  All my love, America.

This poem companions the little  Freedom Angel  "Joy" which is now permanently installed on board  a DDG 104 Navy Destroyer: The U.S.S.Sterett, which was commissioned August 9,2008  in Baltimore Maryland.
